How did we get here? Apparently so many men have been lying about their height that they now have height verification technology. Could this change online dating forever? As someone whose been apart of the hellscape known as American online dating I can say that height isn’t everything. However it’s most definitely important. Men wouldn’t be lying for no reason. I sincerely believe that men should quit online dating and women too. It creates an unsafe and judgmental environment for everyone. Its much too easy to lie and hide who you really are on there. There are good people in this world but a LOT of not so good people on the internet cosplaying as perfect angels. I do think people who are okay with being single should keep their height standards and weight standards etc. We live in a world where coming authentically as your true self is guaranteed singlehood. If we can accept ourselves at whatever height and weight we are then MAYBE someone else can too?
